Latitude Plus is a configurable throttle quadrant built for sim pilots who fly more than one kind of aircraft.

The ModulAIR™ Avionics Suite uses one swappable screen module on the throttle. There are three: General Aviation, Airbus, and Boeing. Every edition comes with the General Aviation module plus Airbus or Boeing, and the Dual engine kit adds the third. Optional accessories, including a mouse pad platform, let the quadrant grow with the cockpit around it.

Sentient FlightDeck Intelligence™ watches for changes in the cockpit setup and helps the simulator match the active avionics and throttle axis. The goal is simple: less time rebuilding profiles, more time flying.

The aluminum frame, synchronized feedback systems, swappable lever packs, and aircraft-specific faceplates make Latitude Plus feel less like a generic throttle and more like a control suite you can tune to the aircraft in front of you.

Let’s go flying,

Throttle Quadrant

throttle Quadrant Module

The removable Latitude Plus throttle assembly uses a 160 mm-diameter mechanism with 135 degrees of available axis travel. Compatible axis covers and separately offered lever sets change the position, travel, and angle for the selected aircraft role. Every edition includes single- and dual-engine General Aviation controls, plus the selected dual-engine Airbus or Boeing equipment.

Quantum Leap

QuantumLeap™ TMR sensors report the throttle-axis position without a contacting sensor surface. The solid steel lever shaft includes an adjustable friction clutch so pilots can tune lever resistance.

Feedback you can feel

Sentient

Sentient FlightDeck Intelligence™

Sentient FlightDeck Intelligence™ monitors the throttle-axis and avionics configuration. When compatible hardware is changed, SFI can detect the installed setup and load its saved axis calibration and panel functions.

Meridian pilots and flight-sim specialists prepare the supplied SFI profiles for supported lever, axis-cover, and detent configurations. Customers can adjust and save their own assignments and calibration settings in the simulator.

Any profile can still be customized in the simulator, like programming the toggle panel functions. Once the profile is saved, the system will adapt the changes and load the modified profile when the same configuration is detected again. That’s FlightDeck™ Intelligence. Sentient instead of artificial.

SFI needs an account and an internet connection. There is no subscription fee, and you can export and back up your profiles. The throttle axes and buttons work without any software.

ambient

Aurora™ Ambient Light: Cockpit in Color

The Aurora™ Ambient Light panel transforms your flight deck with customizable ambient lighting. Enhance the colors to runway edge lights, taxiway guidance, beacon strobes or storms to mirror the world outside, or choose your own palette for mood lighting during cruise. Aurora™ synchronizes the Ambient Light between the Horizon Plus Flight Controls and throttle to produce one combined optical feedback system.

impulse

Impulse™ Dual-Phase
Haptic Feedback System

The Impulse™ Dual-Phase Haptic Feedback System uses two independent actuators. The low-frequency vibration motor reproduces tremors like engine rumble, ground roll, and airframe buffeting, while the high-speed impact actuator delivers crisp bumps for touchdown, flap and gear transitions, trim changes and turbulence.

Our TouchDownSense™ and AeroVibe™ algorithms blend these signals in real time to match aircraft type, flight phase, and events like an actuator bump from turbulence in combination with after-tremors from the vibration motor, giving your hands authentic cues from takeoff to landing.

Flight-Deck Control System

Labels

Toggle Panel with Magnetic Labels

The toggle panel combines configurable 2 position rocker toggles with magnetic labels so you can assign landing lights, fuel pumps, de-ice boots, APU and more. Every switch has positive detents, so it clicks into place like real aircraft hardware.

Gear Lever

3-Position Gear Lever with Lock

The three-position gear lever incorporates a spring-loaded lever lock just like the real aircraft. Up, Off and Down positions are weighted for realistic inertia and have audible detents. Integrated Gear indicator lights provide visual confirmation of the state of the gear position.

Indicator Light Strip & Parking Brake with Swapping Levers

The left side of the throttle includes an LED pitch trim indicator light strip. The brake module features authentic lever heads that swap between Boeing-style, Airbus and GA-round grips, which attach via a magnetic coupling. An LED “ON” indicator is integrated into the trim display, so you always know when the brake is set.

trim wheel

Trim Wheel

The pitch trim wheel assembly uses a two-part design. The left wheel spins freely for manual trim input, while the right wheel performs as a tightening lever to adjust friction. Both attach magnetically to allow easy swapping of different style trim wheels.  The left wheel is designed for the future Servo Motor Upgrade Kit, which is not available yet.

Servo Motor Upgrade Kit

Servo Motor Upgrade Kit

The Servo Motor Upgrade Kit is not on sale yet. When it is released, you can install it yourself, and doing so will not void the Latitude Plus warranty. The kit will come with its own warranty.

Besides the trim wheel, the kit is designed for throttle axes 1 through 5, so the throttles and speed brake can move in sync with your simulator. Each channel uses its own servo and digital controller for quiet motion and precise position reporting. Motorized travel includes resistance and detents, so you feel it when the autothrottle engages or the speed brakes deploy. The servos will be sold individually, and they are identical, so you can start with one and move it between the trim wheel, speed brake and throttles. Four motors make Latitude Plus fully motorized for twin-engine airliners, including autothrottle and autobrake functions. Six cover the 747 and other compatible four-engine aircraft.

USB-C Hub & Under-Table Mount Attachment Points

  • Integrated USB-C hub provides data and power for additional panels. An optional 5 V adapter (not included) plugs into the rear.
  • Premium leather-textured surfaces for a refined cockpit feel.
  • CAM locks for quick attachment and detachment to the table mount.
  • Integrated storage compartment inside the base for throttle panels and levers.

Mounting Options

Table Mount

Table Mount
(Included)

The included heavy duty table mount features dual aluminum T-plates that slide into the bottom of the throttle base and lock into position, using the quick-release CAM locks on each side of the base. You can secure the throttle to your desk without tools using the included solid metal clamps. Alternatively, it can be secured to the table, or fix mounted, using the 4 recessed screw mounts.

Under Table Mount

Under-Table Mount
(Sold Separately)

Our under-table mount screws into the underside of your desk to provide a flush and unobstructive mounting option that doesn’t get in the way when the desk is used for other purposes. The lowered position of the mount provides a more true-to-life cockpit environment and better ergonomics, while keeping the desktop unobstructed and clutter-free in the process. The integrated USB-C passthrough connector aligns with the USB-C hub on the back of the metal frame and automatically connects the throttle to your PC when docking. The flexible fore and aft positioning of the mount lets you tailor ergonomics to your seating position, making this mount ideal for dedicated rigs and custom cockpits.

Clamp Kit

Under-Table Mount Clamp Kit
(Sold Separately)

For desks where drilling isn’t an option, the Under-Table Mount Clamp Kit attaches onto the Table Mount, while utilizing the standard steel clamps from the included table mount to secure the under-table rails. The Kit provides a tool-free solution to attach the mount to most surfaces without permanent modification. The included tabletop platform replaces the obstructed mounting points for avionics and, together with the clamp covers, provides a clean finish and transition between the Latitude and Latitude Plus Flight Controls.
